Attached lead wire
With mesh fabrics, the use of a lead thread is not recommended due to the open structure of the fabric. The threads of the fabric jump out from between the lead wire, making it look as if it has not been put on neatly. This is typical of open weave structures. It is therefore better to work with a bottom hem.
Lining
Be careful when feeding mesh fabrics. These fabrics are very fragile and usually have a high stretch. These properties are even more pronounced when the curtains are lined. Especially with a fixed lining, this will quickly show at the bottom of the curtain, making it look unattractive. It is better to choose a loose lining and secure it in places with “trenskes”.
The width of the curtain is determined by the width of the rail or rod. If the curtains are installed “on the day”, we advise you to calculate at least 20 cm extra width on both sides of the window.
If you work with an electric rail, the motor must be taken into account and extra fabric is needed to cover it.
HOW TO DETERMINE THE HEIGHT OF THE CURTAIN
For curtains above a windowsill, we advise you to subtract 1cm from the height measurement. For curtains above the floor, we advise you to subtract at least 1.5 cm to 2 cm from the height measurement.
If you order both net curtains and curtains, it is advisable to order the net curtains 1 cm shorter than the curtains
